This is how Jairus Dominic Dalagan Asne of Greenwich Township is being remembered.

Affectionately known as "Jai," the 21-year-old passed away at home on Nov. 4.

More than $600 had been raised for his funeral expenses on a GoFundMe as of Nov. 18.

Jai moved to New Jersey from the Philippines with his family in 2006, his obituary says.

He was an active member of the  Phillipsburg High School Dance Team in 2013-14, and was the first male cheerleader at the school in 2014-15.

Driven by a passion for health and fitness, Jai practiced gymnastics and competitive cheerleading, and was a striving neuropsychologist.

He moved to Los Angeles last January and had been working for Apple, his obituary says.

Jai was a proud member of the LGBTQ community and was loved in the Filipino circles in Stewartsville and Morristown.

Condolences poured in.

"Jai was such a beautiful soul," Noreen Brown wrote on his obituary.

"I remember when he came for a visit with his friends and we brought him for his first stand up paddle boarding experience. He was so happy & such a natural at it. He & his friends got us a lovely card before they left. He was brought up well."

"I enjoyed seeing... social media posts of Jai," Tracey Semcer wrote, "as he always seemed to be living life to his fullest."

Services were held at the Devlin Funeral Home.
